ACCURACY CHECKLIST

Before requesting a profile correction

Providing these details upfront helps our support team verify identity and process factual listings quickly.

Do not include patient medical information such as names, health card numbers, diagnoses, symptoms, medications, test results, referrals, prescriptions, or appointment requests.

Correction Request Elements

  • Physician or clinic name
  • Role or authorization status
  • Profile URL if available
  • Exact field needing correction
  • Correct public information details
  • Source or confirmation where available
  • Whether the request is urgent from an administrative accuracy perspective
  • No patient medical information is included

WORKFLOW BOUNDARIES

Secure workflow support requires clinic approval

ProfileMD can help organize public-facing workflow maps and button labels, but secure destinations must be approved, configured, owned, and monitored by the clinic. A public profile or verification status does not mean secure buttons are active.

Software Boundaries

All clinical messaging systems, booking portals, and EMR records reside in secure environments owned by the clinic or licensed third parties, not ProfileMD.
